Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is your average turn around time?

Q: When do Rush charges apply?

Artwork, Files, Etc:
Q: How do I get my files to you?
A: You can upload your files to us by clicking the Send File link located on the About Us page of this website. This is our preferred method of receiving files. We do also accept files sent through Drop-box, Hightail, and other web generating file shares.
Q: What type of files can I send?
A: Our designers are working in Adobe design software and the type of file needed depends on your project.
For Photographic Images: We prefer photographic images to be sent as TIFFs at 300 dpi . We will accept JPGS. These images need to be in the RGB color space.
For Vector Images: We prefer all vector files as High-res pdfs. We will accept EPS, AI, and InDesign files. These files should be in the CMYK color space. All type faces must be converted to outlines and images need to be embedded. If sending an InDesign file, image links and fonts should be packaged as well as an idml file.
Q: Can you make changes to the artwork if necessary?
A: We can make changes if need be. If changes are required, we may ask for a file that does not have fonts converted to outlines and links. If changes are needed in photographic images, art time may be charged.
Q: At what resolution should I send my files?
A: For photographic images, we ask that you send your files at 300 dpi in RGB. For large images, we ask that the resolution be no lower than 150 dpi.
Q: Do you match Pantone colors?
A: Yes! In order for us to match Pantone color, we need the PMS colors to be specified. We cannot match CMYK builds or transparencies. We use the Solid Coated Pantone Matching System so we cannot guarantee color matches with colors outside of that system (i.e. Uncoated, CVC, etc). There may be an additional charge for matching PMS colors. When in doubt about color we recommend getting a proof.
Q: Can I have a proof so I know what to expect in the final product?
A: We send proofs by request only. There is a $25 charge for hard copy proofs. These are printed at 25% of the final image size in most cases. We can also send a low-res pdf proof upon request. These proofs are more for checking content of images and do not reflect actual print quality. We can also send a cropped portion of your image if print quality is a concern.
